Small Islands Blog

This online journal is an archive and captures location specific details of NSI (North Stradbroke) and SMBI (Southern Moreton Bay Islands) relevant for the making of art; it is a dynamic feed of articles, videos, audio files, quotes, galleries and links; ‘chronological’ in its content 2016 to the current day.

It aims to gather material which will inform practice led research artmaking; create a resource to inform artists work; generate digital information and archive about NSI + SMBI; be an enduring document that provides ongoing fodder for artfulness on the small islands of Quandamooka, Moreton Bay.

To the east the sunrises

To the west the sun sets

To the north stand the ancients - the glass house mountains

From the south come the life giving rains
