Delvene Cockatoo-Collins has played a vital role in bringing Lines in the Sand to social media platforms like Instagram (2012), coordinating the Quandamooka Program (2013) and engaging young Quandamooka people in the delivery of contemporary dance workshops (2013 & 2014).
Wishing Tree Nature art workshop in 2012 by Lisa Behan gave people the opportunity to articulate their wishes for Minjerribah.
"Seeing my statement from the Wishing Tree workshop is a reminder of my journey since 2012. Eight months prior to this workshop, I had returned to live on Minjerribah to be with family. I shared a very personal thought, that I was seeking to connect WITH artists on Minjerribah. In this context, I see my wish was also about exploring my identity as an artist back home on Quandamooka Country. Over the past several years, I have contributed to a number of collaborative projects which have significantly developed my arts practice within this space. It is heartening to look back and know that wishes can be realised". (2015)
